Part of me feels this series is amazing for the acting and issues portrayed by the two main leads. Another part of me is so frustrated that the two leads couldn’t realize how much their unconditional love for each other could help them both heal and move beyond their constant self sabotage. That what they have is worth staying together for and learn grow with each other. Rather than constantly move apart either through misunderstanding or believing they don’t deserve love and happiness perhaps. As someone mentions in a review, they couldn’t seem to move beyond their perpetual feelings of brokenness. Whatever it is, I so wanted to see them realize their own worth and true potential in relationship and in life. But I guess, many of us are attuned to seeing a ‘happy ending’ or self realization to make ourselves feel better. After finishing this series, I had to call my husband, who watched a few episodes with me, to rant about the last four episodes and all that happened lol!
