These guys lie to the original owners, they give the impression that they are keeping the vehicles as their own & work on the nostalgic emotions of the original owners implying these guys plan on restoring & keeping the cars as as their own family heirlooms but in reality these guys are selling to highest bidder & usually to the USA. I have spoken to people who have been tricked into selling their vehicles & then they watch the show & realize they were lied to. In addition these guys artificially inflate the prices of older vehicles, making tv viewers believe all older vehicles are worth insane prices. For decades car enthusiasts have enjoyed finding these vehicles & building them into a beautiful hobby which could be shared with friends & family for reasonable investments, you have caused people who were not car enthusiasts to turn an economical hobby into a high stakes high priced business investment. Many of these vehicles are turned into $100,000 investments which get put into storage hidden from the enjoyment of the middle to lower class working people….. the exact opposite of what these guys on the show implied to the original owners. We have also verified that these guys do not buy business licenses in the areas they are picking up vehicles even though they are indeed taking business away from local car restorers. Our plan is to start educating the public about the dishonesty of these people & run them back to their own community……. We do not want them on TV or in our communities!!!!!!!
