A truly ridiculous and clumsy plot twist turning it from a pretty good spy thriller (like IAP) into a sci-fi. The first section in Iran is good; the middle section back in the US is painfully boring; the final section on the sub/in the future/back again isn't worth reading. Felt I had to finish it given the time I'd invested.
