I got the early access and have been playing it at every opportunity. The game feels immersive and very detailed. I love that there are multiple ways to complete tasks and that once you accomplish certain goals, the NPC's treat you as if you have. (No more being treated as the "new companion" when you are the leader.) The space fight system is excellent. You can play so many different ways, be it the pirate, the scholar, the explorer, the soldier, and on and on and they all feel different. The biggest complaint I've heard is that it takes a little too long to get into the game, but I didn't have an issue at all. If you are a fan of hard sci-fi, this is the game for you.
