I love this show. The characters are well drawn, complex and self-referential. I loved the books and agree with other reviewers that they are very well adapted in the show. I deeply appreciate how thoughtfully they explore identity, reality and the complexities of love. Yes, the show is about magic. But within this frame the writers are able to explore everything that makes us human - even, or especially, our desperate need to find some way to wrench even a small amount of control for ourselves from the often cruel hands of fate. I hope this show never ends.
