As someone who’s played From games since Demon’s Souls this game feels most like Dark Souls 2 take that as you will The music and soundscape work great for the world, the enemy and world design are absolutely astonishing, the weapon customization is super cool, and the story is interesting enough all the way through, however far too many bosses have stage 2’s, the dodge is probably smallest in the genre (good I-frames though), the walk back for a lot of bosses is terrible, a lot of cheap one offs from similar titles just gets overused in lies of P basically. Don’t believe people when they say it’s like Bloodborne IT IS NOT, please don’t get your hopes up aesthetically is where that comparison ends. With small adjustments it easily could be a 8/10 I’m hoping those adjustments come when we click our heels but we’ll see TL;DR If you love souls-likes check it out just come in with low expectations
