Finally a Superman movie thats comic book accurate and not portrayed to be some religious icon. A film about the character and what makes him human and not about his strength. With a roundabout cast thats equally fantastic. Krypto, Mr. Terrific are standouts in the film even Guy and Hawkgirl with their limited screen time manage to standout in their own way. Lex being a big hater is probably what makes the movie even happen. The human being more monster while the alien being more human is a dynamic many will not understand because they are the human monsters. Superman acknowledging Krypto is a bad dog but still wanting to still saves him speaks to his humanity. I'm not usually into DC films but I found myself enjoying this film.

The film seemed promising but it was a big let down. The film started off super slow and by the time it gets going you're bored, uninterested and rather be watching something else. The whole "Talk to Me," aspect doesn't go beyond it's the hand of a psychic person and is incase in cement. Then you have to say "I let you in," which isn't explained how that works or why it works. Why does anything even happen in this film? The spirits making you see stuff that isn't real isn't new to horror but at least make it make sense. Why would anyone after seeing video of people be possessed want to try that game. Back to the beginning of the film the way this film starts reminded me heavily of another film by the name of Stay Alive. Also the same premise You get a video game that is haunted has an evil spirit in it that will kill you. We see a person whose played the game die at the beginning of the film even after the game is supposedly over. Yeah both films are different but that beginning is almost the same the only difference is one explains thr rules of the game and the characters know if you die in the game you die in real life. Here we don't know nothing or why it's only attached itself to Mia and not the others who've used it twice as much. Why weren't they seeing the spirits why didn't the spirits attached themselves to the others. It seemed even after the first time with Mia they were attached verse the others. Nor was it scary the story was more bland than Warewolf By Night. I wish I could say I recommend this film but I cannot.
