My daughter, after watching Animal with her college friends, left halfway due to overwhelming emotions triggered by the depicted hatred, violence, and disrespect for women. The concerning portrayal of relationships and society in these films, where characters with negative traits and obnoxious display of male chauvinism are glorified as Heroes, poses a threat as teenage boys are viewing them as role models, contributing to a disturbing trend of violence in our society. This trend, inspired by such movies, is akin to a disease affecting our social fabric.
