This book was written with an agenda. That agenda is very visible today in the Western world, where women have abandoned the home (and men) to seek 'worth' in the workforce. It is so ironic that this book dictates that women are essentially slaves if they get married and have children when there is no greater slave than being a pencil pusher for a corporation that will excise you when you are no longer of any use to them. How many working women have we met who HATE their jobs? You see them complaining on social media all the time. Now, if women want to work, fine, but stop demonising women who choose to stay home and raise families.
Also take a look at the history of the author. It couldn't be more obvious what her goals were when she wrote this.
BTW, this movement is almost entirely exclusive to the Western world. Nearly everywhere else, women are having big families and those populations are growing while ours is declining. Think about that for a minute, and you'll realise what this is really all about.
