Had very high hopes from this movie, but this ended up being a complete disappointment. The movie is broken down into a lot of small stories which start and end quite abruptly. The flow is missing from the storytelling aspect. Barring the 1971 Bangladeshi movement, the other stories presented in the movie don’t go into any sort of detail. Vicky Kaushal is good in reprising the role of FM Sam Manekshaw, Sanya Malhotra and Fatima Sana Sheikh are just about okay and the supporting cast falls short of delivering any substance to their roles. Overall it was a complete waste of time and I’d rather have watched it at home, than go out and watch it.
