I have been a Stephen King fan forever and own all of his earlier books I was excited to read Holly after watching and reading Mr Mercedes. When I read a book from the King of all horror, that is exactly what I expect. The storyline had so much potential, as did the style and wit of the King. I only gave it a 2 for potential .I knew Stephen King is a left wing guy but I was not expecting the book to be a vehicle for his Trump bashing, Right wing hatred in that you cannot get through a chapter without the mention of his political views. I am conservative and yes, got vaccinated AND wore masks (OH MY), but I am not interested in reading a book in which the author cannot write without his political agenda and anger expressed. Save it for twitter Mr. King. Yes, you are old enough and have the fame to write however the hell you want but I am done with you sadly because you don’t have what it takes anymore to want to please your reading audience.
