Meh. I've have a degree in history, Ancient Roman plus law. But this movie is atrocious. First North African city attacked from the sea! Laughable. By 200 AD North Africa was Roman since 100 BC. Jurgatha wasn't black neither was Macrinus. And the Jurgantine War, the actual conquest of Numidia ended 300 years before this scene takes place!!! It's insulting to Punic people and the people in North Africa that aren't black at all. I have North African and my family was personally insulted. Just look at the Goums of Morrocco! FYI Hannibal wasn't black either. Unfortunately too many low iq people think movies are actual history. They are not! Especially from Ridley Scott: Napoleon ring a bell! Ding dong.

It's OK, standard fare. But Rommel was actually 5'6 compared to Hitlers 5'9. They picked someone to play him smaller than everyone around buy even Von Rundstedt was only 5'7!

Tina Turner was awesome and hot in this movie. It's just as good as the Road Warrior, but slows then picks up. Worth a watch.
