Srinivasa Chakravarthy

This is probably the best TV show Ive ever watched. The plot is so complex, gripping and of course sometimes confusing. The characters are rich and deep, especially the protagonist Juliana Crain who was played by Alexa Davalos quite masterfully. She deftly and quite subtly switches her as they show her in different alternate worlds. Even some of the minor characters have so much depth and significance that only someone who is a thorough student of human nature can create such characters. The twists and turns of the plot seem so natural and not something contrived to create excessive suspense and surprise, as is often done with many shows. The show also does not depend too much on nudity or violence just to enhance viewership. The music is so apt - it creates a sombre mood that pervades the entire series, a mood that is appropriate since what is at stake is the future of the entire humanity with a small band of desperate and brave individuals risking everything to secure that future. ANother noteworthy feature of the series is the care taken towards details - in portrayal of historical artifats etc. It is such a rich treat to the intellect. One would like to watch it over and over if there is time and luxury.
