Only we quaint English with our sense for the odd subject matter could nake this film. Laughton is over the top, but the other cast are a superb counterbalance to his masterly performance. I've seen it over a dozen times and never tire of it worthy of a best film Oscar award.

Thrilling unusual as odd with what Byrne did with talking heads still carrying the off beat flag that much of life is a mlx of sanity and the ridiculous, interchangeable with with one's whimsical nature superb.
