Mucho Chucho

Definitely earns its R rating. The one star reviews are all hilariously uninformed boomers who want George Clooney Batman forever. The movie wasn't perfect by any means, but the downsides are things like "Wait, why did that character survive when X died?" types of things that only really last a few seconds. Voice acting was great, and the pacing was actually pretty good imo. Definitely worth the watch, and again it's rated R for a reason, don't go showing this movie to your 9 year old kid and wondering why they get upset.

Yeah no, the word "disjointed" gets thrown around a lot here, but I can assure you that it's an understatement. I'd complain about the pacing, but really nothing happens until the last 20 minutes anyway. Writing was bad, acting was okay from the leads, and fell apart from everyone else. Hard to call something a plot hole when the entire plot was kind of vacant to begin with. The whole movie was "setup" with no payoff at all. You'd have to have spent your early years chomping down paint chips to feel like you really gained anything from watching this film.
