Not gonna lie this movie had me in the first half. Gripping, entertaining somewhat original while paying homage to the more famous Djinn tales. I was hooked, and then an obscene underdeveloped poorly written wrench gets lobbed right into the main plot, and immediately caused me visual repulsion. Such a potentially great movie ruined by a lazy piece of out of the blue character development. Finished the movie out of disgust.
