Although a bit creepy and cringeworthy when the "cats" crawl around at the beginning and the end of the film a lot of this movie is captivating, moving, and even funny. There are some very strong performances and the costumes are amazing. So, on reflection, I.feel that the film has been judged a bit harshly. I would certainly go and see it again.
