I loved the first two books, but this third book moved at a snails’ pace (whilst still jumping around weeks at a time). It felt like the relationship between Xaden and Violet was supposed to take more of a hit or go through significantly more struggle…that just disappeared a few chapters later because no one cared about it suddenly. The storyline with Andarna became more unconvincing, especially her equally-sudden entrance at the final battle (with no explanation, again). Hope for more from her next book
