Hands down one of the worst movies I have seen in my 21 years of existence. There was no character, the girl cheated on purpose, and didn’t regret it: why is this rated so highly? This sets up problematic and unrealistic views of love, because despite how nice he was to her in their old age, his random new wealth which supported them all. This ignored a lot of realistic problems the couple would have to face.like dealing w each other’s personalities once the passion faded, considering they barely knew each other. And the practical problems of having a girl like her. Ya, so I do not recommend this movie to anyone, unless you LOVE these type of stories. For once, it wasn’t a better love story than twilight, which was as stupid as this. The outer story, of the old man was actually touching. The real couples story was asbsolute bs. People end up liking the movie once they see the ending, which was made well, where as the real story was terrible.
