More poem than film… beautifully shot, remarkable performances.

The movie gets a resounding “Meh”…however, the Dave Grusin score is masterful. The narrative lacks depth and much- needed character development. For instance, where is Molly’s mother? Second, why aren’t the states of both marriages more fleshed out so that viewers will understand why the two leads would take the actions they do? The film is coasting on the ineffable star power of DeNiro and, especially Streep. Expected more… got much less.

Missed this the first time around. However, after watching Alex in Handmaids Tale, I looked for other things she’s done. What a stunning contrast in terms of her development as an actress. Lauren Graham is truly wonderful in this…her scenes with the great Kelly Bishop are lessons in how to give a nuanced , insightful examination of a complicated mother-daughter relationship. I The entire cast is terrific … the writing top drawer. I am almost done with Season 1 and it’s been an extremely enjoyable ride.

Breathtakingly beautiful film in every aspect of filmmaking and acting. Juliette Binoche gives one of those performances that will live in your mind, heart and soul for as long as you live .

The second season as brilliant as the first. Rylance shines like the sun.

Absolutely Chilling! A wakeup call for parents , teachers (and anyone involved with children) vis a vis social media and its more destructive effects on adolescents ( particularly boys). Brilliant acting, compelling narrative, extremely disturbing.

Meh! Heughan deserves better than this formulaic dreck. STARZ piggybacked the debut onto Outlander finale… probably in an effort to grab that audience. Big mistake… the vast majority too busy unsubscribing until “ droughtlander” is over. Facts!
