A one time watch thriller that could have been better if trimmed by at least 20 minutes..To say Joju has performed brilliantly would be an understatement , his performance was a revelation though the mohanlal influence was pretty plain in some places..But to his credit he has carried the movie on his shoulders..The background score by Ranjin raj was another strong point. Cameraman Manish had also done a commendable job and the frames appeared to cover the screen with splendid visuals.However all said and done there were far too many situations which could have panned out better. It's an honest attempt and just for that you might think of venturing to the theatres

Domestic violence is such a sensitive and factual issue which should not have been trivialised by twisting it in the name of dark comedy. A bit more seriousness should have gone into the screenplay which would have eventually conveyed the intended message in the manner it needed to be conveyed. But here we are made to feel sorry for the guy who perpetrates the violence towards the end instead of anger. As for the acting every one did their parts well but one starts to feel Alia is becoming repetitive in her expressions at various stages in the movie. Being a railway mam myself the portrayal of the crew controller as someone forcing a subordinate that too a senior guy to clean toilets or tables was unnecessary and far removed from the truth. It doesn't happen over Indian Railways. Overall a once watch movie if you have time to fitter away
