It's shocking to me that so many people think this show is a 1 star experience. They don't appreciate the artistic form of cinema that this is with its beautiful long pan or still shots of a landscape, setting a tone for the scene. They don't appreciate the episodic style of the show, and how each episode is interlinked somehow. While some of the episodes do not feel like they're necessary for the greater story, this show makes it clear that there is not supposed to be a big picture. At the same time, people complain about loose ends and unexplained endings. However, this show established in the very first episode that, perhaps not all questions are meant to be answered. The messages the show tries to send are not new, but the way they send them absolutely is.
