The first book is good as long as u ignore some things just as much as the plot. I started reading it, beautiful characters, beautiful plot and description of places, all was going smoothly. Also liked the first person view.
The second book was ok for and the third it was my DNF, and here is why:
The things that bothered me is the lack of emotion or explanation of a situation, for ex:
NOT SPECIFIC SPOILER BUT STILL
Something happens to a person pretty close to Poppy, and that person gets hurt, the only thing Poppy does is screaming NOoo! That s all
All the training and nothing 😂
And then she finds out the person dies, and nothing. Everything is raw like no emotion!!!
After a week she s absolutely fine, no change in behaviour or ANY vigilance. Like she literally gets kidnapped every single time!
And not only her but seems everyone around is like this.
At book two and three the description of places went downhill and many times i lost myself trying to imagine. Also when there is a BATTLE???
Hello
?
No description AGAIN?
After one page it gets bloody - not described how and in the next gone, they won. Like…
It makes no sense, absolutely no sense.
Like u d write: they fought, got bloody they won😂😂
And one of the last things i DNF it at book 3 cause of an unnecessary scene in page 127 which made me loose interest…SPOILER…
She s a 19 year old kid..but somehow end up being naked and seen by too many people…too much and from there i lost my concentration and i closed the book around page 140
