I watched an interview with James Norton the other evening, in which he states that everything in this show was carefully researched and was strictly historically accurate, NOT TRUE!! The general outline history is more or less okay, but nothing else it seems, after watching Edward the Confessor (played as though he was a half whit) smashing his mothers face in with his crown and fists, I can honestly say this has no historical credibility at all, and is at worst grossly misleading.. I also agree with other reviewers, the sound is terrible, conversation is hardly audible, a lot of the costumes, hairstyles and interiors are from a totally different age.
