I finally saw this film. This review might upset those who love the play and movie. I found it tedious to follow due to its boring and unmemorable songs. The story line was uninspired and the double meaning of the script was way overdone. I really wanted to like this movie, but sadly there were too many problems for it to overcome.

Excellent rendition of the Dracula story. Cinematography and location design are superior. The movie is creepy (as it should be) and made more so by Klaus Kinski's portrayal of Dracula.

Absurdity meets reality ... pretty much sums up today's world.

In this age of do-over horror movies - this film is "okay" in a sea of repetition. The movie pays homage to Close Encounters, The Fugitive, Children of the Corn & Signs. It also introduces us to a new horror species - the Dark Light Creature.

Totally ridiculous screenplay. I felt no sympathy for any of the characters.
