What I loved - In the earlier episodes, the humor sent me to bed still chuckling. Humorous dialog in Chinese fantasy dramas is honestly getting better. The CGI was entertaining and we finally have bright colored costumes! What I didn't like - The FL cutesy/silly girl trope began to get on my nerves. The ML's acting was a bit wooden at times, and they went a bit overboard with the costumes - just a tad too much flowing material. While I thoroughly enjoyed this drama at the beginning, by episode 25, I couldn't take it anymore. The storyline became slow and repetitive.

Dark, funny, violent, not always coherent but it's such a fun ride!!! 😅
