I loved this movie when I was a kid. Decades later, I think it mostly holds up. Yes, the animation is wildly dated, but what do you expect? It's a must watch for anyone who appreciates WEIRD 1970's science fiction and fantasy. It's definitely not meant for a broader audience though.

'Hi Ren' started popping up in my YouTube feed about a year ago. I still don't know why, but I'm sure glad it did. Ren's a genius, plain and simple. I can't remember the last time an album resonated with me to this degree. His writing is authentic and PAINFULLY honest. The guy oozes talent like very few before him. He has my utmost respect and gratitude.
Everyone should listen to this album, even if you're someone who doesn't usually follow rap (like me).
