I wanted to like this film as I was a real fan of the first Secret Life of Pets, but this movie was a disappointment. The first 20 minutes were very nice and was developing into a really nice story, but then it diverges into multiple threads that very loosely come back together at the end. The last 10 mins was also nice, but not enough to make up for the 60 mins in the middle. This movie would probably be great for small children, but if you children are more mature and are actually looking for a coherent story line, they probably won't enjoy it as much as the first pets movie
