Anyone who gives this movie 5 stars are insane. There is definitely great acting & fantastic scenes throughout the film. However, it's just another case of a successful film being milked for all it can. Nothing ties into the original films besides another location being absolutely ransacked by aliens & one familiar face. It has very strong emotion & few good jump scares, but save your money, you can wait to watch this one at home. Sure wish I did.

Everyone on here pretty much bashed the sequel, for obvious reasons. The actors/actresses & even the plot is not that great but I completely have to disagree with the original being much better. Its available on Netflix & even then it's not really worth the watch, part 2 gave you a bit of fright with some of the great shark scenes & CGI, but at the end of the day, that was pretty much the best part of it. I'd probably pick the sequel over the original, however, I'm not even sure why it's considered a sequel. 4 of 10, wouldn't highly recommend.
