very basic storyline, obviously for kids but it was enjoyable nonetheless because of the memes. they included my childhood youtubers and THE GOATED LEGEND!! PEAK CINEMA 🙏🙏 CHICKEN JOCKEYYYY

It was alright but I got baited into thinking it was a musical anime movie (there were only like 4 songs). Don't label the movie as a Musical when it's more of a Showbiz/Drama movie. Made the trip more gloomy than expected so yeah. 4/10 for experience. 2/10 for musical-wise. Animation: 👍 Well animated, even the use of cgi for a bit wasn't that bad since they were using 2d animation as well. Visuals were pretty as expected from kadokawa! Plot: 8/10. Really shows the characters' personalities, background really well (for a movie that's less than 2 hours) and the audience knows right away what they're about. It reveals the hardships and trust that came with the friend group, and the students were relatable. We see the given opportunies/harsh reality of the entertainment industry, and how the media psychologically breaks people. But then at some points the cuts in the movie were just so random it was funny?? Like it would get like deep asf and then CUT, SILENCE, RAIN. Yeah idk either, I found it oddly ironic and symbolic at the same time seeing how just the world flows on like it normally would even on really terrible days. Overall: 6/10 It was kind of sad watching it with friends. If I watched it alone it would've been higher. I commend them for making a good story though.

I liked this! The movie was great when it showed realistically how humans would react if something just straight up took control of their body and the reactions to coexisting with another species which society would judge, at first glance. I would explain more in detail about the positives but it’s 1 am, too tired. SPOILER AHEAD - more of an opinion (anddd complaining or perhaps criticism) of how a part of the movie could of been better really. Cons! When the story was around how Wanderer was gonna be taken out and leave for another planet, it was a tearjerker for me because she’s literally leaving everyone she made a relationship with (especially Ian 😔🥲)! I felt like all that build up pretty much succumbed to nothing honestly. It had so much potential!! I wish that alternatively it could of made a big arc (?) where her friends find a way to bring her back and or intense emotional scenes of Wanderer’s comeback instead of cutting away to “Oh, yeah we begged the Doc to not kill you and now you’re back yay!”. There was so much more the writers could of added and would’ve, COULD’VE BEEN A BIG HIT. Plus, in other reviews they have stated that the book was better soo they probably should’ve followed that more. Also the ending was kind of meh too which could of ALSO had more potential to add but idk I guess the SFX and CGI kind of took most of the budget already/had a low budget 😩.
