Destiny 2 itself is a very good game and it can be very addictive. It's not perfect, but it's creating its own genre. Honestly, there are a lot of things you can do to kill your time like: collect ghost shell designs, ornaments (they are the equivalent of skins), exotics, armor, weapons. Literally EVERYTHING. You would still have content to collect more of those things, or if you want something more challenging, try collecting triumphs or playing the raids with your friends. As I write this I have 1000 hours on Steam, but overall I have been playing Destiny since 2016 and I highly recommend it. But keep in mind that Bungie will remove content from the game on November 10th because they can't keep updating the game forever. But I keep insisting that you should give it a try.
