The original movie was better, but this movie is typical Hollywood that put no thought into it, and had actors that were mediocre and just acted very badly. Disappointing to see that this is how movies in Hollywood are like nowadays, so predictable. Fight scenes were terrible, effects were unrealistic, the music was not at all good and what exactly was the plot?!! I fast forwarded through it all because it was obvious and also unnecessary.

Nothing to brag about. Sophia V is okay, not the best choice for a tough looking muchacha! The fact that they didn't do enough of a background or history fact-checking along with the fictional characters thrown into this series, makes this show not at all biographical and more Hollywood-fied and a joke! They made Griselda look weak and emotional, just very male-chauvinistically handled and inaccurate. Almost like they wanted to throw something together to make money. What happened to quality and getting the real history behind it???

Didn't like the fact that they used north Indians for a true South Indian story or biopic. The characters don't even look close to the real characters. The movie should have also been in the original language - Telugu! In fact the movie setting and the majority of characters were from the South, but the whole cast should have been from Andhra. Indian directors or casting team should be realistic and not discriminate based on skin tone! Story line also went a little off the path. Has anyone ever seen a north Indian story played by a South Indian?? Hate Bollywood for this!

Not realistic in the sense of what the mayor should be doing. Also why does Taylor Sheridan take white middle aged or old men and pair them with young girls?!! Is he going through a mid-life crisis? It's pathetic and disgusting! Or he makes them look like tough guys next to young guys. All of this is just not thought out properly. And the actors aren't the problem it's the story line. UNREALISTIC!

I thought it would be like Coco in some way. Story line was okay just very vague and unreal. Emotions were terrible and and the songs were not that great. The characters were too much except the older characters, which were probably the cutest parts. Many parts of the movie were unbelievable. Lin-Manuel Miranda's voice was extremely annoying and a middle aged Hispanic man rapping is so ridiculous! His voice wasn't meant for this movie even though he directed it. He should just stick to directing!

It really made me feel for the family, especially her girls! Her brother Rudy was absolutely amazing for sharing her story with us! Thank God that the family still stuck together after so much lost, so much pain, so much suffering they ALL went through just for a crime she didn't commit! Meanwhile white ppl committing these heinous and foul crimes getting away with it and not having their lives destroyed like this family did! But still she was the lucky one, when there are so many others like her with the same story and to hear that only a fraction of them get pardoned was shocking! Made me feel that we need more Obamas in our gov't, courtrooms, as law makers, in our Congress! This is why AOC, Tlaib, Ilhan, Obama, Buttigieg, Beto, and numerous others fight for justice for the brown and black ppl, and to hold white ppl accountable to the same crimes! They took a mother away from her small children created a sentence so long for a crime she has nothing to do with, damaged a family with no compensation! Yet the white woman who got killed by a black cop does?? How is that fair, justified, and how can anyone sympathize with ppl who look like them? The answer is you shouldn't, you musn't, because they aren't doing the same for us!

To much unnecessary cursing in this show and in the wrong places. I think they did that to make it look like it was an adult show. Concept and storyline was dragging and made no sense and connection. Shihabi can't act and has a voice that sounds like an old lady with a young body. The cursing and acting that came out of her mouth was weird and unbelievable! Anyways just a bad show overall. The reason I gave it a 2 was because of the main guy - Mamoudou Athie and the other actors. They hyped this show up as if it was something great.

These series were a mix of Hollywood and Bollywood films combined. Hollywood because there was a storyline with sex, which pretty much is what Hollywood sells! Bollywood because no precision to details in their films. Overall the series was pretty predictable and laughable with the dialogues. I had to fast forward through most of it, because it was just boring and honestly you get the whole story regardless of paying attention. Couldn't stand that actress who plays Elisa, seriously wanted to slap her face! Also what really was quite interesting was how many Hispanic/Spanish actors are literally doppelgangers of Hollywood actors! The characters who I thought looked similar: Alex - Christian Bale, Rodolfo - John Travolta (younger), Chema (gay guy) - Jake Gyllenhaal.

This was such a great movie! All abt family, culture, the colors, the lively music give it a Coco feel. Love when Disney brings cultures out for everyone to learn! Another awesome movie that Lin-Manuel put together without his voice in it!

Nothing special or impressive abt this series except that they thought they could get away with getting a Latino act like a white attorney. His accent is not even hidden that well!
