I loved this movie and the performances. I think the reviewers completely miss the point. All the people that the Elle Fanning character encounters are drawn to herโbecause sheโs interested in them. They are considering what she can do for them. But the real love story is between Chalamet and New York, and the lens a NY life offers him. And in the endโthatโs why he makes the choice he does. He realizes heโs found someone who loves what he loves. Itโs beautiful...and New York never looked lovelier.
