A movie directed by Tony Gilroy rather than Green grass. Although Gilroy co-directed the other bournes with green grass, Gilroy shouldn't have made this one without him. And I don't blame Matt Damon for not wanting to be in it without Greengrass directing. Tony Gilroy totally changed how the jason bourne movie is structured. He put his own spin on how the action is done and the lines characters speak. The movie has nothing to do with Jason Bourne but instead the story behind CIA drugs used to create powerful operatives. The other jason bourne movies seemed more..real with people who were smart and tactical. This one directed by Gilroy is slower paced, more plot than action. Gilroy stole aspects of Green grass versions of jason bourne to make it seem more authentic to the originals, but I feel as though he butchered it.
