As a loyal fan of the books and Dune: Part I, my heart breaks seeing this movie. It felt as if I watched 3 hours' worth of extended trailers, everything was rushed, with no substance. It felt like as if someone had strapped me in a chair, forced open my eyes with claws and made me witness everything spedrun. If you are a loyal fan of Dune, be prepared for a panic attack. Dune: Part 2 targeted audience was the masses, and they did not care if they sent the loyal fanbase into slaughter.
