Watched this movie with family last week. Definitely a whiff of fresh air at a time when Malayalam cinema is lost in the chasm of gory realism. A heartwarming story told against a simple middle class background. At a time when families and familial values are disintegrating, we need such movies that the family can watch together without feeling sheepish or embarrassed. The U rating not withstanding here's what I felt. What worked: The storyline. The humor elements. The conscious attempt to keep the movie clean. What didn't work: The music. The gaps in screenplay. The editing.
