My reasons for loving this movie is not because it is just the best horror film but simply cause I had to watch what the adults watched..it was all that we had at the time so I grew to love it & and although there are a lot things that ABSOLUTELY MADE NO SENSE AT ALL IN THIS MOVIE of course I consider it a classic and still watch it every year, just on the strength of bringing in the holiday.. HOWEVER ONE THING BAFFLED ME WAS THE ERROR THAT WAS LEFT IN THE MOVIE WHERE THE GIRL LINDA& HER BOYFRIEND PULLS UP TO THE HOUSE WHERE ANNIE IS BABYSITTING THE LITTLE GIRL (Lindsey) and the boyfriend proceeds to tell Linda that he is gonna rip off her clothes and she is gonna rip his clothes off then they will rip off LINDSEY CLOTHES BUT LINDSEY IS THE LITTLE GIRL??? I was sure that he meant ANNIE the babysitter
