Terrific adaptation of the book. I was surprised when I heard that Gary Oldman had been cast as Jackson Lamb and really didn't think it could work. How wrong was I? The guy is superb and the rest of the cast aren't behind. Wonderful work and even Slough House itself comes to life. Worst? I've now got to subscribe to AppleTV+ to get the next 3 series! Who cares? I'll just leave a couple of loaves of bread on the supermarket shelves instead! British drama at its very, very best.
