Batman is absolutely fantastic. This brand new take by Matt Reeves is as dark and carefully shot as any Batman movie needs to be. The vehicle chasing scenes are incredibly well shot and the lack of action and things exploding all the time was a perfect call to get away from “another superhero” cliches. The city of Gotham is super greasy, dirty and corrupt as ever. Pattinson fit in the role like a glove and boy he delivered. Do yourself a favour and go watch it in IMAX.
