Disappointing. Too much wasted space in text. Skeletal descriptions, if any, of the actual trail, interesting landmarks, landscapes encountered, or the towns located along or near the trail. Instead of focusing on the path or the mystery excessive mention of the food at breakfast or the packed lunches of cheese and pickle sandwiches, apple and chocolate bar.
