It was dire - goodness knows why I saw it through, think probably simply to see if it would redeem itself to be worth watching.
It didn't - kept flip flopping from ridiculous scenarios - people being fired for being non pc in hired vehicle - really?
Guy threw a few swear words at a head teacher and expected not to do same again when she remained exactly the same - really?
Went down various roads, all unsatisfactorily dealt with.
Cast mismatched - very pretty wife falling pregnant to someone I really can't work out why she'd bother to engage with - didn't have any redeeming qualities or magnetic character.
Then they're supposed to reach their turning point at some sleazy casino joint - throwing money that they don't have (owing to previous firing in hire car incident;) that point I'm just thinking please don't leave all your cash on the floor behind you. With character number three suddenly emerging as having a raging cocaine habit.
Suddenly the mum so intent on her child going to private school, that she'd be prepared to work around the clock seemed to settle on his place in public school; rest of the characters too suddenly finding seventh heaven out of nowhere - just to make for a happy ending.
Felt the movie was all chucked together in hope it would make a souffle that would take shape and rise at some point - it didn't - all fell very, very flat.
