I didn’t know what to expect, but since it’s Pixar I gave it a shot. And of course, no regrets! It’s definitely worth the watch!! The story telling, the characters, the vibrant world built around these elements and the intricacies of how they interact with each other... trust me, just check it out. It’s funny, thought provoking, emotional, and just well done all around. Also, this is something that both kids and adults can enjoy.

Ignore the haters! Go see it This movie was so fun and I enjoyed watching one of my favorites reimagined. First of all, Halle Bailey was perfect as Ariel. She had the innocence, curiosity, playfulness, and the longing down. She also took Ariel’s songs to the next level. They did a good job of giving us the iconic scenes from the original but infusing new music and moments that made sense and didn’t feel forced. Fans of the original will love it. Kids who may have never seen the original will love it too. There’s something for everyone!!
