Here's an honest review for you in the form of an analogy: This film sweeping the Oscars and then having a barrage of (dare I say it, LIKELY PAID CRITICS), to give it "5 stars" and rave reviews of it brings to mind an image of someone putting poop on a plate and telling everyone "it takes like steak! Best one I've ever had!" This movie was painful, degrading, and incomprehensible. I only forced myself to watch it, (sometimes needing to avert my eyes from the needlessly offensive scenes that served no real purpose in pushing forward the nearly non-existent plot), for the sake of giving it an honest review. All I can say is I had to flush the toilet of my mind and shake it off when it was over. It was truly a ghastly insult to any sense of intelligence or moral fiber in a thinking person's being. But it would seem to me that the point of awarding all of these awards to this trainwreck of "artistry" is to demolish the agency and its credibility while leading the unthinking masses to the black hole inside of the"cosmic bagel" that they portray in the film as the nihilistic end of all things, pointless and void of all meaning. If you say so, but not in my world. I still have a mind, a soul, and a moral compass that still works. This film is a white flag waiving in Hollywood stating that they have truly given in to chaos and destruction, and have no redeeming qualities remaining. Their creative juices are all dried up. Their tree has withered and the fruit is rotten to the core. Nothing worth seeing anymore because truth and decency have left town. Don't waste another moment of your life on this garbage. By the way, I would give it NO STARS but I was forced to chose 1 star.
