Boop Doop

I can't even touch on how much the 'humor' in this show makes me so disgusted. The amount of meta jokes in this show that are just thinly veiled attempts at psuedo-self-critique in order to keep the audience from ACTUALLY critiquing the god awful writing is terrible but not even my least favorite part. My least favorite part? Every. single. character. is. unlikeable. Every single one! It's like everyone HATES each other until (spoilers) they fall in love for PLOT reasons! Every character's motives are TOLD to us instead of shown and they treat tragic backstories like a joke. Somehow, EVERYTHING is a joke in this show EXCEPT the ACTUAL jokes. Which are not funny! Nothing about this show is even CLOSE to reminiscent of the source material and does nothing to capitalize on WHY on the source material is so beloved in the first place! What an absolute garbage fire.
