While I initially reply enjoyed the show it took a very drastic turn for the worst in how it handled very serious issues towards the end of the series. We had the character Jim Parsons was playing a very Harvey Winestein reminiscent character and he was given a romanticized redemption to his repeated abuse. It felt very manipulative creatively and down right wrong considering we are just beginning the clean up of Hollywood's negligence in this arena. There are actors and creatives alike still fighting to have their story heard by these predators and you give them the happy ending? It was gross. The end of the series felt rushed and misguided from the previous build up to production of Meg. The beginning and the end didn't felt so disconnected, like I wasn't watching the same series. I understand the desire to do a bit of a switch up, much like Once Upon a Time in Hollywood but it didn't feel completely worked out. This one was unfortunately a miss for me.
