An underrated work of art in its own right, the Definitive edition was definitely an improvement over the original release graphically and mechanically. The story and gameplay are both incredible but this game is hindered in the same way that LoZ: tears of the kingdom and breath of the wild were despite it being newer. Both are open world games but feel incredibly repetitive despite the immense worlds they both take place in once the main story is complete. As for the lack of postgame (also present in BOTW), this could be blamed on the Switch's lack of power as a console but regardless, the additional story exclusive to the Definitive edition is underwhelming. There were too many plot holes and strangely, it only focuses on Melia and Shulk, leaving players guessing how Reyn, Dunban, and the others were connected if at all. I'm not the Gordon Ramsay of video games but if these minor problems were addressed, it would completely perfect the game
