I think this movie was better than it gets credit for. It's a low slasher by 2 young directors and I think they deserve credit for taking a stab at it (no pun intended). The whole camp thing made me think of Friday The 13th and is this going to be a ripoff of that? But they did enough to keep away from that. There are some comical elements to it but labeled as a horror comedy, I felt like it could've been a little funnier. It does a good job on creating suspense in wondering who the killer is and the showdown at the end but the plot could use a little more depth and a little more character development for some of the characters. At one point I had forgotten who someone was and they were just introduced maybe 5 minutes before. Overall I enjoyed it and I think it's worth giving a shot.

They spend a lot of time showing and talking about things that have nothing to do with the Amityville Horror. I'm one episode in and about half has been random footage and going off on random tangents about the era and I'm considering not watching the other 3 because its kinda boring. EDIT I did continue to watch and the other 3 episodes were better. I upped from 2 to 3 stars. It wasn't the greatest but it was interesting. Hearing from Chris was interesting however, I'm unsure of his stance on what happened. I'm some moments it seems like he's trying to debunk the whole thing but then he is confirming it was true but stuff was added. Idk watch it yourself I guess lol

I liked it! There's a few issues in it but what movie doesn't have issues. Go see it for yourself and have a good time! There's quite a few laughs

I thought this was a really good movie. It's got some good scares but isn't some corny gory horror movie. It takes on a journey while a dark evil lurks in the background and you're always left with an underlying fear of the devil hiding in the shadows.
