I LOVE watching Nightly News with Lester and watch it every night - even taping it to watch if I am not available for it at the scheduled time. So I am a BIG FAN! That said, I was very disappointed with the show tonight, 12/30/2020 - Kristen did fine filling in, but the tribute to those that left us this year was not up to the standards of NBC. The entire tribute was disjointed; the music did not coordinate well with the photos - timing was off; the photo quality was poor; the narrative at the beginning and end of the tribute was weak. You’ve spoiled me NBC . I am accustomed to much stronger content and presentation. Looks like your JV team was in charge. The piece did not do justice to the lives portrayed or to NBC.
