Hats off to you Craig. I listened to you speak today and it moved me. While in different circumstance, I lost my wife to a fatal car accident in 2018, leaving me to be mum and dad to my now 8 year old Kaleb, initially I got tattoos and seeked help of a psychologist, however I was judged by my decision to get tattoos and very quickly shut out, those times were hard and I did honestly turn to alcohol to help, ultimately I became negative and aggressive to the point my then employer engaged help for myself. Many times I wanted to give up and honestly would have had if not been for my little boy. A few years went by and I made the decision to move and do better for not only myself, but my son. I worked harder and started our new life, I bought land, build a house and later met my partner, Kaleb’s step mum. We then chose to further bring positives into our lives and moved away from all our family in order to better ourselves and provide for the future. We had struggled previously to expand our family we are now expecting our little girl this October. Had the supports not been in place, I may not have been writing this. Thank you for your work.
