I found Slow Horses on Apple TV on a flight from London. I promptly went out and purchased all 8 Slough House novels. Mick Herron’s writing is humorous, layered and genius. The most fabulous marriage in literature, is Jackson Lamb played by the best chameleon in acting, Gary Oldman. He could shape shift into any character ever written. Kristen Scott Thomas simply is Lady Di as Katherine Standish is perfectly portrayed. This series is worth reading for Herron’ brilliant prose. Worth watching for Oldman’s brilliant, layered, complex, compelling, humorous performance. He is a thief of the phenomenal performance and stole the show. He is Jackson Lamb. P.S. I wouldn’t want to be in a room with Jackson Lamb…. the flatulence is epic!
